With one memory less and one corpse more in the cellar, petty crook Maik alias Pastor Sanmann awakens from his coma to the relief of all of Läuterberg. The time as a fake priest is completely forgotten due to amnesia.
Maik is surprised in the rectory by Gitta, the teacher, who is head over heels in love. No sooner does she sink into the arms of the surprised pastor than the church council is standing in his living room.
For Maik's and Kevin's plan to fake roof damage in order to get the money from the church's repair fund, the brothers steal the water pump from the fire truck of Läuterberg's volunteer fire department.
