Could only get through the first 20 minutes.

I'm dumbfounded how this movie currently has 7.3 stars and three favorable critic reviews. It was so amateurish and painful to watch that I just couldn't continue and had to turn it off. When I finally said "That's enough" and stopped it my girlfriend wanted to know what took me so long. The first 20 minutes were awful and based on the level of filmmaking competence shown I don't see how it could have improved. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.

Kid-friendly

Warning: Spoilers
The Dove Foundation exists to "encourage and promote the creation, production, distribution and consumption of wholesome family entertainment." They select movies that are family-friendly and endorse them as being Dove approved.

This movie may be the first one we've featured - and probably will ever feature - that is Dove approved.

The League of Legend Keepers: Shadow is about a family of archaeologists who find a missing pendant that is being sought by an evil spirit. Once all five of the pendants are brought together, the shadows from the past will be unleashed. Will Sophie be able to save her family and her town from the shadows?

Starring and co-written by award-winning young actress Isabella Blake-Thomas (TV's Once Upon A Time), and directed by Elizabeth Blake-Thomas, The Legend Keepers: Shadows stars Richard Tyson from Kindergarten Cop, Eternal Code and Death Kiss, as well as Jake Brennan (Richie Rich from the 2015 TV version).

Kid-friendly adventure films really aren't my bag, but if you have little ones at home over the holiday break and want something fun (and safe) to watch, this is a good pick.

California is just like Cairo except with slightly better toilets

Warning: Spoilers
Professor Edward Carson (Michael Piccirilli) is an archeologist and wears a fedora. He has been looking for five legendary power crystals for the last decade. He has found four. They look like the small $1 crystals you can get from China. They didn't even bother to take them out of their holders. His daughter Sophie (Isabella Blake-Thomas ) is the main character and occasional narrator. They are in the wilds of a California parking lot excavation looking for the last crystal, also wanted by an evil priest/demon.

When I saw the word "League" and the DVD cover I thought maybe this would be "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" as children. It was not. It wasn't "Dora the Explorer" good either. The film was low budget and had a bad script that bad actors could not animate.

Unfortunately there are no more options than ZERO here for rating :). i would give this trash -10. i am always wondering how IMDB agree to ad these kind of movies on page.

Any ways .. DO NOT waste your time to even see the TRAILER of this joke.

Can't justify a badly made movie by saying that it is for children.

The storyline is, for lack of better word, naive and chaotic. Acting is nonexistent and the FX could be easily done 15 years ago with a simple PC. It's unbelievably boring.

Total crap

Even if this movie was for the kids they too would scratch their hair off with such stupid story plot and below average acting. What would you expect from a 72 mins movie. Nothing but a baseless movie. I don't know who invests their money on making such movie.

The script, acting and the casting. All seems to be totally fake. I mean the level of acting and everything. Skip this for sure!

This movie is for KIDS and not ADULTS

First things first - This is movie made with children in mind, not a mind numbing action film with weapons and deaths. If you are looking for that its not for you or your children.

Its actually a story about magic, family and friendship.

Young children will enjoy it
