- In the pilot episode there is a flashback to a threesome. Two women are shown on bed kissing while a man watches. The woman on top beckons him to join and he does. All three are implied to be nude but no nudity is shown.
- Scenes of strong kissing.
- A rave is shown at the Purge with male and female sensuality and suggestive dancing.
- A love triangle throughout the series.
- Two women are seen kissing passionately several times throughout the series. There are several flashbacks to a threesome between the two women and a husband (no nudity shown, but heavily implied). The two women start sneaking around behind the husband's back. The husband comes in to find both women in bed without him, and so on.
Violence & Gore

- Miscellaneous people are shot, stabbed, whipped, dragged by motorized vehicles, clubbed, axed, hacked, electrocuted with car cables, etc. by the Purgers in the background.
Profanity

- Mild PG-13 level language, nowhere near as strong as the "Purge" films. Words like "damn," "shit," "assholes," "screw," etc.
- Infrequent uses of the "F" word. At least 1 per every other episode.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- A misguided young man in a religious group approaches a group of masked people with axes and machetes with the intention to be "sacrificed" to them. He is proud of his "sacrifice" at first but then has second thoughts about this and begins fearing for his life, encouraging himself to remain calm as the masked people approach him and hack him to death. Pretty disturbing.
- Not as explicitly gruesome as the film series, but much more thematically dark and sinister.
- In another chilling scene, a family is hiding in their home when Purgers arrive. The father sacrifices himself to protect his family but is killed. The mother is then shot to death by a purger in front of her kids as they hide in the closet and watch in horror. Very emotional and may be too disturbing to some viewers.
- The scenes of Purgers killing their victims are very intense and can sometimes be hard to watch for some viewers.
Spoilers
Violence & Gore
- Same level of violence as the films, only FAR MORE DARK, especially when lead characters are forced to kill others to prove their loyalty as well as to avoid being killed themselves.
