The concept is good but due to low budget I felt the execution of the story did not went well. Some scenes were good, especially the last few ones. But beginning was really boring. If you have time, there is no harm watching this one. I mean there are movies i have watched, much worse than this one. so, yeah, why not give it a try.

What the heck was going on at the beginning? Music and some little girl dancing? No reason? Okay -1 Star..
Ahh it comes up later what that was about. But this movie, a babysitter has some friends over and is haunted by a killer ghost. The best part of the movie was the dude in it, and of course he was removed about halfway through, so the rest of it was drawn out and boring really. There was no tension really if they were trying to build it. We all knew what was going to happen.
Overall, just not that great. 3/10

Anyone saying this is more than a 3/10 either made this movie, was in this movie or is related to the makers / cast of this abomination of a movie.
If u watch this thinking u might be pleasantly surprised... your wrong i promise.
Its frustrating, boring, awful cast and awful acting. Nothing redeems it.

The music is the worst

Should have guessed it was going to be bad when the first song began. The acting was touch and go. Some were really bad some were not as bad. But that music. Aby whatever and her claws seriously made the movie painful. My said it would have been worth 3 stars because it's got a few weak frights, but he doesn't want to be responsible for anyone to hear those songs. Really that singer and her lyrics are just awful.

This movie was so poorly acted with an extremely low budget. Had a very weak story line. I had to force myself to sit through the whole film. Sounds silly I know to do such a thing but i guess i was hoping it was going to get better along the way. Really i should of turned it off when i saw how poorly the acting was 10 minutes in by the babies parents, because let's face it, poor acting is usually an indication that a movie has very little substance.
You could probably use that 90 minutes to write an even better script on an old notepad whilst listening to Enigma for inspiration.

The plot is cliche and boring with characters who are completely by-the-book and forgettable. I've just finished watching the film and I can't remember a single characters name. You've got the good girl with a sad past, the tough best friend, the blonde ditz, the sex-crazed douche, and the geek.
The actors are also some of the worst. They all speak in a really monotonous voice and hardly ever show emotion. There's a scene where someone is being stabbed and all they do is moan like someone is trying to wake them up.
Also, a lot of the action / intense horror scenes are paced really slowly and are just boring. There's a scene where a girl is being chased into a room, she closes the door and holds it shut while the pursuer tries to pull it open. It goes on for far too long with an almost comedic amount of back and forth shots between the girl and the doorknob. Every single 'intense' scene is shot like this.
Not to mention, I don't think there's a single original score or sound effect in this entire film, it's all stock. If you've ever played a cheap Unity engine horror game, then you've heard every sound effect in this film. The music also has a really cheesy 80's vibe which unintentionally makes some horror scenes humorous, but still isn't enough to make any scene good.
In short, this film is just bad. It's not even 'so bad it's good' or 'good to watch with drunk friends', it's just boring, cheap, and not worth anyone's time or money.

This movie is going nowhere. Lots of visions and nothing. Male character Jeremy is the worst actor I've ever seen. He's phony and lacks control of his character. Must be related to the producers as is a few of the actors.
One reviewer stated that it was like drunk college students that made a film after passing their course. I agree with that up to the point of passing. I think they failed. I'm only half way through and can't take any more. Avoid this at all costs

Okay this film is weird. It's awful. The acting, the camera work and the writing are all awful, and yet something about this film scares me. I think it's because it deals with babies and that's a thing that scares me. This film is a guilty pleasure for me.

Low budget yes. Bad? Yes. But I'll tell you why I loved it. The ending. You have to watch the last scene or you won't get it. Those of you who hate it, admit it. You'll be wondering to your last breath what that message said

As a parent, if I experienced what they experienced I would have never left my child with a sitter. So, to me that is the biggest flaw along with the fact that the last girl would have been charged with those crimes committed. But hey it's a movie and I enjoyed it for what it was- low budget.

This was not awful. Some good scares, decent acting and a good story.
I really thought the movie based on the title and dvd cover was going to be about an actual nursery, instead we got a babysitter movie which in a way makes sense.
She is babysitting a three month old, who is a bit young to leave with an inexperienced young girl, but thats just me.
The story itself wasn't anything new but the atmosphere got darker after Renae gave her story about her mother which I don't want to spoil. Her story added an emotional vibe to the movie and made it less bland and after that part the movie picked up with the nanny getting involved and the final act of the movie.

There is a primary motive behind horror genre; fear, or a sense of mystery, this flick has SOME mystery, but in the end its all the same.. weird jumpcuts to make you feel that you are watching some piece of artsy horror, group of adults trying really hard to be stupid, so they look like teenagers, and unnecessary use of technology, and last but not the least, a very boring looking ghost.
I really wanted to like this film but it seems, this formula has been chewed and chewed so many times that, doesn't give you any sense of wonder.
I sugggest you watch this film yourself and then give the rating (-1) that it deserves!

Psychological Horror the beat kind and this low budget gem lives up to the genre! I fully enjoyed it! The gory parts left just enough up to your imagination well still scaring the piss out of you! Think Psycho the movie. Definitely worth a watch and two buckets of popcorn ( you will be spilling one)

Although technology has advanced a lot in the world of cinema, low-budget cinema is still intact, offering films that never seek to be a masterpiece, but rather something that catches the attention of the most curious. The Nursery is a film that is not aimed at everyone and does not seek the approval of those who are already used to seeing better quality films. It's a movie that's just looking to be another low-budget project done the old-fashioned way. The truth is that it is a film that takes many well-known clichés and unites them into something quite typical of how it was done before. The story is actually good and interesting, but the execution of the film is willfully imperfect. The atmosphere is good, but there are no good sound effects that make it more engaging. Some sequences have strange editing that sometimes goes out of context. The entity that terrorizes the protagonists is quite similar to Sadako, but it has a fascinating story behind it, although it is quite brief. The makeup is clearly cheap, but it's not as noticeable in the dark scenes, making them look good. The movie doesn't even take up much time, since the story is short and over quickly. The only thing is that it ends too soon when it concludes. The Nursery is not a film that many will come to love, but it is an acceptable low-budget film that delivers as another attempt to do something the old-fashioned way without resorting to so much money. Of course, if it had been with a bigger budget, the film would have looked better. Still, it is an easy film to digest. My final rating for this movie is a 7/10.

The director seems to think they are smart and artsy or something. They seem to be going for a certain "feel" for the film but it's just a mash of various styles that don't fit and it just falls apart.
The camera work is just horrible. Again this likely at the request of the directer. Long shot as, weird angles, plenty of close-ups, and lots of really annoying shaking camera.
The actors dialog is forced. They're movements likewise. Nothing here feels natural.
The page is slow. Nothing to keep you interested. You keep wondering what the heck is supposed to be going on, but at the same time don't really care either.
