Truly a masterpiece

Warning: Spoilers
I usually never rate episodes but this one made me do it! The story, camera angles, frank realizing where is home...Everything in this episode is a piece of art. Especially the part when Frank gets adrenaline shot and becomes godlike and prevails in the most epic blood fight EVER. This is truly a masterpiece! 🖤

The best penultimate episode in the history of Tv
kiyavasss27 October 2020
This episode right here is the one I always rewatch every couple of months; it has everything in it drama, action, horror, suspense and thriller. This is the peak punisher. 2 years ago when i first watched this episode i felt this great sadness, grif and pride in my heart that made me understand this broken man these are the things that define frank castle AKA Punisher.

Every time I watch this it gets better

Warning: Spoilers
This has to be the best fifty minutes of any MCU or Marvel related show for me personally, and maybe even film included, too

It has excellent and I mean excellent acting, it's convincing and real and just very good, deranged and brutal yet creative, intricate and dark camera angles/choreography/cinematography, it has perhaps one of the most satisfying and best payoffs and climaxes ever, and it was written very well, and not to mention its music is epic, and towards the epic and bloody end of the face off between Rawlins and Castle it gets goosebumps inducing, the moments with Micro and his family were convincing and done well too. Really interesting and good co-character and subplot

The moments between Billy and Frank have to be my favourite overall, but that end payoff when Frank rises from the chair is beautiful. It was just so awesome, it gave me goosebumps, and I watched it again and it still does that because it is unbelievably good TV imo

The anxiety, adrenaline, and pacing all in one, it's both nerve racking and intense, with the shocking twist including Billy Russo, who's also fantastic, being my second or third favourite moment, where he cuts the lock clips on Franks hands

Unreal how good it really is, peak Punisher, peak Marvel. Love it.

one of the best episodes of any TV show ever
ArchAmarth1 August 2022
The build up to this episode was amazing enough but then the payoff here is incredible. Everything about it makes up for the slow start to this show so much and it's just an incredibly satisfying way to show off the character.

Wow

5 minutes ago on 23:50, I finished watching this episode and I got to say: this was one of the best hours of my life. I really could feel the feelings that Frank was going trough this episode. My heart was beating and my veins were pumping full of adrenaline the whole time. Wow. Hands down Netflix for this epic story, tomorrow I'm going to watch the season finale but first a nice sleep now although I think there isn't going to be much sleep because of all the thinking what I just witnessed this hour.

(P.s: I've would have written a exclamation mark after every sentence but IMDb just couldn't allow that.)

G D Frankie. I Love To Watch You Work.
nebohr25 January 2022
The most vicious, painful-to-watch episode yet. Actually, we can't remember anything even close to this. Lieberman recovers his family and Frank. Frank. Maybe adopt a puppy, dude.

Home Episode 112
bobcobb3017 December 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This was the most graphic episode of a Netflix show ever. They are really embracing the military aspect of these personalities and how much pain they can handle, but it bordered on over the top at time. I am fine with Frank pulling off ridiculous escapes, but his body should not be super human. Eventually he would have died from all of the beatings he took.

Fun to watch, but a little too much blood.

Not for the faint of heart

Warning: Spoilers
The penultimate episode of the show and it's all about the confrontation between Frank and Rawlins. Sustained torture and violence here, so not for the faint hearted, building to incredible gore at the end. Wow!

predictable and bullshit
janhenrikasmus1 December 2017
Warning: Spoilers
The faked death and the knife under the table was way too predictable idk why this series is rated 9.0. Why was there a knife under the table if the whole place was scanned by Russo and his men? The series started off very good and I enjoyed it but more and more bullshit stacked.I tried to like it due to the ratings...

OMG
Warin_West-El9 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
OMG, talk about screwing the pooch. In this episode the writers resurrect all of their bad habits and fortify them.

FLASHBACKS: Just when you thought the writers had learned the judicious use of flashbacks, here's the episode where the screen time of flashbacks seriously completes with the live action. I found myself fast-forwarding through all of that crap.

STUPIDITY: Frank is left alone with Russo and Rawlins. Why? Well, because it makes NO sense, of course. David is calmly sitting down and talking to his children while Frank's getting his brains beat out. David COULD say something. But why break the spell of stupidity?

VIOLENCE: When Frank gored Rawlins eyes out, that scene was SO over the top, I spontaneously burst out laughing. NO, I don't like violence. But that moment was so ridiculous. You could feel the filmmakers desperately trying to shock the audience.

TRITE: The faked death and the knife under the table were totally predictable. Certainly, if Russo did a search and found the gun, he would have found the knife as well. And if you've seen enough James Bond movies, you know faking a death is pretty standard agency stagecraft.

Those who savour violence praise this episode. But from the standpoint of a realistic narrative, Episode 11 was poorly constructed and extremely disappointing.

Best episode
joejohnsonquan20 November 2019
Not a lot of things happened in this episode because the pace of the episode is was so slow. The camera angles cutaways and deliberate pace made it even better. I felt like I was experiencing the events of the episode more than watching. It was surprising, suspenseful, and had a GREAT soundtrack to add emotion.
