Like an amateur production. For some reason it had 5 stars from user reviews on Prime Video, which is why we tried it. Perhaps some people really like the subject matter or casting but the quality of the script and acting is abysmal.

I recognised the lead Detective and co-star from America's Next Top Model, she has 8 acting credits, need I say more?
I did make it all the way through the first episode, unlike the previous reviewer, so I can say they missed nothing. As far as I can tell the 5 star ratings were from people who just wanted to support a LGBT+ series, regardless of its quality, or lack there of.
When the second episode started with more half-arsed acting and the worst fake screaming I have ever heard (and I watched Sunset Beach) I realised I just didn't care what happened. Not even enough to watch 4 more 40 minute episodes.
The idea was good, the writing was bad, the acting was nonexistent. And the gratuitous sex scenes were uncomfortable to watch and appeared to be entirely written just to try and even up the numbers between unnecessary, inappropriate gay and straight scenes in the media. Personally I prefer not to mix vicious murder with random oral, but that might just be me.
