Very poor Penthouse video feels like leftovers
lor_17 February 2016
Some prior era cast-members and a by-the-numbers tone makes "The Seduction of Young Girls" seem like old footage rescued from the cutting room floor. I've been exposed to some crappy Tommy Pistol performances of late (notably starring in "Stryker") but this shot at directing is really poor.

The claustrophobic stagings are cheap, on under-dressed studio sets instead of the mansions of modern (even gonzo) porn; uncredited script mainly left to improvisations, and the acting unstable as if the performers were anxious to get to the humping and head home. Technique often resembles Live TV productions of the '50s, as preserved on kinescope, with real-time, one-camera shooting and no editing.

Opening segment matches thin blonde Avril Hall with no-talent Ryan McLane, generating zero heat or interest. Things pick up a bit with MILF Darryl Hanah praising the breasts of kid Jenna Rose. She's going to be her new step-mom, so under the pretext of showing her the ropes she seduces the young girl. This segment is suspect, as Rose has a gap in her career after 2011, only appearing recently in generic gonzo videos which could easily be made up of archived material.

Vet farceur Eric Masterson plays broadly in a comic segment opposite Bailey Blue. Resembling a very old vaudeville sketch (100 years old), he has bought a bathing suit for his girlfriend's birthday so he asks visiting neighbor Bailey to try it on to check the fit. Before you know it they are humping.

Farce is also the approach in another May-December hookup pairing Steven St. Croix and the perennial starlet Abby Cross. Abby tells him that his son (her boyfriend) cheated on her last night. Steve's concept of empathizing with her situation is to hump her.

Finale is a disaster as beautiful and well-preserved Euro star Diana Doll, has tremendous difficulty improvising in the English language, a requirement for this unscripted exercise. Matching her with porn's latest tattooed lady Christy Mack is pretty random, and their lesbian scene goes nowhere.

This mess that I found to be sloppy seconds is packaged in line with the "sex by the pound philosophy". Dillion Harper's kisser is emblazoned on the DVD's front cover but she doesn't show up for work, and another no-show is Derrick Pierce, prominently listed on screen in the credits. I infer that their sex scene was dropped from the final version, and some old reject vignette substituted.
