This is the episode that we have all been waiting for. The episode is great. top 5 best moments

5.We get to see Yoda make his appearance once again. What i like about his appearance is the fact that he is now regreting fighting in the clone wars and its very interesting to see that Yoda was scared during the clone wars. A great was the speech he gives to Ezra about how the Jedi were consumed by darkness. My favorite moment with Yoda was when Ahsoka turned to see Yoda and Yoda gave put his hand up and gave her the look of "im sorry" and ahsoka smiled. that moment was the best because it was such a call back to the clone wars and it was an opportunity to bring back the amazing yoda theme tune.

4.We got to see Anakin on a holocron and in this scene we learn that Ezra has been learning lightsaber skills from the holocron. We also learn that Ahsoka sore Anakin again after she walked away at the end of the clone wars. this was great scene and one of the many reasons why this episode is so good.

3.The appearance of Darth Vader at the end of the episode was a great surprise. We now know after seeing Vader that we are getting into the final few episodes and the final is going to be heartbreaking.

2.The biggest surprise episode was the grand inquisitor. We learn that he was once a jedi temple guard which now gives the character so much more depth. it was a great reveal and it makes us wonder why did he turn to the darkside and what does mean for his character in the future of star wars.

1.The best moment of the episode was ahsoka's vision. She sees and speaks to her former friend and master only to be told that she failed him and that she was the main reason he became Darth Vader. And this makes ahsoka knows the truth now and it sets up the season final.

The episode was the best episode we have gotten out of the show. it was an ahsoka heavy episode and it feels like it is the start of the end for ahsoka.

Shroud of Darkness

This episode brought everything that I had been waiting so long to see. It brought new answers to the table, plus a whole lot of new questions too. A lot of the characters needed something for their development, and they all got it in this episode. Kanan finally got to become the Jedi that he never got to become back during his training; Ezra learned a new way to possibly defeat the Empire; and Ahsoka learned the true fate of her master. The characters all got something great out of this episode, and even though it didn't feature a lot of the characters that we know from the crew, it did focus on some who will be the focus of the last few. It was great to hear the return of Frank Oz and James Earl Jones again, as well as the return of some "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" regulars who got some time to shine in this episode. This did set up a lot for the last few episodes, and I do hope that they will be able to stick the landing. If they do, I think this'll be known as some of the best "Star Wars" material that we have gotten in a long time, as it is quite brilliant up 'till this point.

Temple of Secrets

This is a brilliant episode.

It starts with a great battle with Kanan and Ezra versus the two Inquisitors. It is cool how Kanan and Ezra work together and it is an entertaining fight.

We then have Kanan, Ezra and Ahsoka going to the secret Jedi temple to seek advice from Yoda on how to deal with the Inquisitors and the threat of the dark side which seems overwhelming.

All 3 have visions and lessons which are fascinating.

Kanan is seemingly bestowed the status of Jedi Knight as well as seeing a vision of the vanquished Grand Inquisitor who states he was a former Jedi Knight himself. He also is told the dark side is coming to take his apprentice.

Ezra is also told about the threat of the dark side and in visions of Yoda is told how the Jedi failed by being consumed by the dark side of fear, anger and war. He is told to seek Malichor which we learn is a place.

Ahsoka has visions of Anakin telling her she was not there to help him and gets feelings of his turn to the dark side. She also gets a nice farewell from Yoda.

This is all really interesting and powerful.

Finally we get a great ending as Vader visits the temple.

Hearing Frank Oz as Yoda and James Earl Jones as Vader is a huge plus and we get the voice of Anakin from Clone Wars as a bonus. I love his voice performance of Anakin in Clone Wars and it makes Anakin a better character than he was in the movies so it is great to have him back.

I rate this the best episode up to this point because it is so important story-wise and is superbly executed with plenty of powerful content without any problematic aspects. My only grumble is that the animation of Yoda is not great and Anakin does not look as good as in Clone Wars.

My rating: 9.5/10.

The Force is strong with this one

Plot; Kanan, Ezra and Ahsoka go to the Jedi temple on Lothal to seek answers.

Strong episode sees a number of important and intriguing pieces put into motion; most of which likely won't pay off until much later. Helping give extra gravitas to the story are appearances by Frank Oz as Yoda and James Earl Jones as Vader, and I can't emphasize enough how much stronger the material works thanks to that connective thread to the live action films. After a few wobbly and unimaginative episodes during the middle stretch, S2 is back on solid ground and hopefully peaking as it nears the finish line.

Continued brilliance

I really did not watch or appreciate computer animation before this show.

There has not been a thoughtful continuation of the Star Wars saga before this show.

Star Wars Rebels is simply excellent. This particular episode is just another example of the wonderful stories, the vivid characters, the superb production and effects. I sense a source of pride in all phases of the creative work.

The theme of 'Rebels'is just terrific. For the first time we truly get to see a young Jedi learn his craft, battle with his mystical and internal forces, make friends, and deal with enemies. This is what Phantom Menace should have been about.

I do believe when completed, Star Wars Rebels will have done more for the Star Wars legacy that any other production, including the movies.

face your feelings

This was a really great episode. Kanan, and Ahsoka have their fears. Ahsoka left the Jedi Order and even though it was her own decision, she still has guilt. Guilt that she failed her master.

Kanan always thought t hat Ezra Bridger's life was on him, the decisions which Ezra made, due to this, he needed to face the truth that Ezra will have his own path. That he(Kanan) can do nothing, but train him.

I am most pleased myself

A surprisingly thoughtful, superbly entertaining episode of Rebels and just Star Wars in general.

The journey each of these Jedi take was just so well done. Ezra's connection with Yoda (presumably from Degobah) was very interesting and she's quite a bit of light on how all of the surviving Jedi from the war must feel. I also think it's just badass that Yoda, despite going into exile, is still using the force to guide others in these calling times.

Ahsoka's visions of Anakin and her own shroud of darkness was short lived but necessary to her arc. The little apologetic wave Yoda gives her at the end almost made me cry... I loved it, and the revelation at the end is surely going to make for some shocking, emotional storytelling later on.

Kanan may have gotten the best plot here. The fight with the temple protectors (with YELLOW LIGHTSABERS HOLY H*CK) was really entertaining, but the lesson he learns at the end of it all, and his knighting as a true Jedi Knight, was already enough, but to also learn the Grand Inquisitor was a Jedi knight himself added great depth to that character and Kanan as well.

All of the expanded Jedi lore here was fascinating and fantastic, as was the storytelling and character development. This is probably the best episode in the show up to this point.
