Great for an amateur snuff film

Video editor: Do you want pencil sketchings, animated fire, inversed photography, historical archives, rain animations, loud piano, homemade sex tapes, or time lapse for these cut scenes? Director: Yes.

Very boring

This program is nothing but an hour of abstract, hard to watch animation with Philip Gardiner's narration. The dialogue is just historical information anyone could get in even more detail on Wikipedia. To top it all off, they misspelled serial killer Francisco Guerrero's name.

10 Most Evil Serial Killers (2015)

** (out of 4)

Philip Gardiner directed this documentary that gives you a title like you're going to be watching some sort of countdown but instead we get to hear about the exploits of some known serial killers including William Palmer, Felipe Nerio Espinosa and Jack the Ripper.

10 MOST EVIL SERIAL KILLERS is a low-budget film that I managed to catch on Amazon and in some ways I respect it but at the same time I must admit that it left me rather bored. You pretty much get told the story of these serial killers and their crimes but then you have some animated bits that also give you something to look at.

The animated pieces were decent for the most part and it's a unique way to tell the stories but at the same time the originality of the animation really doesn't make the film any more interesting. Most of the stories that we're told don't offer us anything new so we're basically hearing the same stuff that is already way too familiar.

10 MOST EVIL SERIAL KILLERS is far from being horrible but the fact is it's not really that good either.

Good, but a bit violent.

Warning: Spoilers
It is a good documentary, but the animations are a bit tough to watch if you are sensitive. Many show victims being strangled, and the sounds of strangulation may not suitable for all viewers, as they sound quite realistic and go on for up to 30 seconds.
