Indeed, as the first reviewer has mentioned, it's a homage to Fahrenheit 415 movie/book, however, I was disappointed with the ending.

remembering Fahrenheid 541. rules and interdiction, intervention of state in private life. and the war against beauty. and, off course, the gesture changing everything. but "Prism" has the the virtue to be more a simple new adaptation of an old subject. it has the gift to reflect fears and to serve, in inspired manner, one of the often themes of black utopia. and this does it a good way for explore known theories and the way to show the essence of humankind. so, a good film. and one who is not a good idea to see.
