Terence and Philip come to life...

OK, I admit that I think "Letterkenny" is a fun show. But tell me if it is possible for anybody to watch an episode of Canadian comedy show that is all about "farting" and not think "This is Terence and Philip!"

Part of me thinks the creators deliberately did this as a "South Park" homage; if not, then maybe Trey and Matt are spot-on about Canadian television... :)

I Didn't Anticipate Shakespearean Theatre

This episode is just plain stupid. But does that really matter. We at least get the farts out of the way and can move on to other idiocy. I agree that there was little spark in this one, which, of course, parodies Facebook. There are a modicum of funny things here but it was mostly uninspired.

Like, I Get It, But Also, Stop

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is the black sheep in the first season of Letterkenny. It's essentially a direct parody of The Social Network, with extra commentary on Facebook culture. It's an alright premise, but it ruins Letterkenny's solid pacing and has several characters break established character development to fit the premise. In other episodes, Letterkenny's repetitiveness is funny, but in this one, it feels unneeded. Observational humor is fine, but people have made these jokes about Facebook for years, there's nothing fresh here. I'm glad the show improved.

Great 5 episode season

If only this one didn't exist. Like I get the satire about Facebook but it's not a clever enough gag to justify a full episode of fart noises. Honestly skip it. The first 2 episodes had me hooked and then this one almost made me give up on the show.

An unfortunate episode in an otherwise solid first season

This episode is tough to watch.

I know it was the first season, but this is an idea that should have just been thrown out the moment it was suggested. If they could have added a clever underlying premise then maybe it would have worked, but it doesn't.
