First episode is 1 hour 10 minutes, and it has so much fluff. Excerpts from interviews, scenes of animals, a lot of artsy visuals...
It's like they took a 30m documentary and stretched it out to 1 hour 10 because they didn't think the audience would be interested in just the facts. Long-winded, watered down documentary on genes.
