The narrator says in the opening that is the first footage from this huge Victorian complex of buildings that is Broadmoor -- the largest psychiatric prison in Britain.
From a historic point of view this film is very important. Maybe later people would want to see how everything looked inside. Or how prisoners were treated. Or what do they used to wear in these conditions.
Else it is dull, dull, dull. A simple journal. And the restrictions in which the filmmakers were to function do not help a bit. On demand from the hospital personnel the inmates with no responsibility cannot be filmed. The most spectacular cases refused to collaborate. And the others inmates come face blurred. Maybe the documentary team could have thought of another story.
