Truly hurtful

No. No, no, no. Not Sweets. His death scene was so tragic. Him getting to the Jeffersonian and that bag being opened, that was agonizing. He was so pale, that was done extremely well by the make up artist or whoever was in charge of that, making it so much realistic and heartbreaking.

Good episode, but for me it's unforgivable to kill off Sweets.

Warning: Spoilers
I had accidentally read a spoiler a while back that said our beloved Dr Sweets was going to be killed. I stopped reading and tried to pretend I hadn't read it.

Then when Vincent was shot, I thought I must have mixed them up and so I thought that was that.

Hmmm. As soon as I saw Daisy pregnant, then there was the whole 'you're going to make a great dad, Sweets', my heart sank.

He was too excited to be rushing off, under the siren and there was a new guy being all friendly and eager to please.

I actually cried, because I'm a big wet blanket.

The next episode is probably going to be worse as they take apart his 'remains'.

Heartbroken. That film he was making that meant he had to be bumped off her had better be good!

RIP Dr Sweets. A great tv character.

Well there goes my heart

How DARE the writers of the show think that it is okay to kill off Sweets! After we found out he is having a kid with Daisy!?!!? Now I've never been a daisy supporter but the absolute AUDACITY of these writers to kill Sweets when life was just starting for him. I will never forgive them.

I even knew that this was coming and it is killing me. There is nothing like seeing them open his body bag at the end. Absolutely devastating.

I think the only saving grace is that we didn't have to watch him get injured. If we had a scene like we did for Vincent Nigel Murray where we had to watch him get shot, or in this case suffer massive internal bleeding I don't know that my heart would have ever recovered.

Best part: Booth and Christine sleeping on the couch

Worst part: that the fun lovable character of Sweets who truly found a family in Bones Booth and the other members of the Jeffersonian was ripped from our grasps.

Sick of Booth

Warning: Spoilers
The loss of Sweets makes an indelible impression on the remainder of the show. His level headed dealing with the realities of the world was so settling to all. Brennan constantly made fun of his science. How can you be an anthropologist and not deal with the issues that drive humans. We are not X's and O's. I just want to say that the character I have become tired of time and time again is Booth. Brennan gets him out of prison and he can't wait five minutes to go charging into things. No thought for the implications of his actions. I'm tired of his considering his vengeance as something noble. I'm not defending the bad guys but everyone said it, including Brennan. He's not the same person. Well, in some ways he is. He is pretty much a bully half the time. If these were real people, I'd blame him for setting up Sweets' death.

Bad fan service

Warning: Spoilers
I am quite baffled to see all these high ratings for this episode. I like the series otherwise I wouldn't have watched all the episodes leading to this one however I am extremely disappointed at the way the story was written to kill off a fan loved character. I understand John F. Daley had to leave the show (or at least leave for multiple episodes) nonetheless the way he was gone from one scene to another as if our beloved Sweets was just another murdered victim was very undeserving. Even though he was not the protagonist of this show, we got to see him in almost every episode since he first appeared in (if I recall correctly) late season 1. We developed a bin with this character and empathized with him so I find it cruel to just kill him off without being with him the moments that lead to his death.

The acting was as in all the rest of the show though I would have expected Sweets friends would be more heartbroken about his death. I felt a lack of emotions coming off the characters who are supposed to be mourning a loved one.

First we had the awful idea with the rush between Booth and Brennan's relationship (even if the actress was pregnant there must have been another way rather than the leap between a night together and btw-I''m-preggo-and-we-live-together-now-scenario) that we were given and now this.
