A vast improvement:With April absent, Dexter has the opportunity for some nice sibling scenes and improves Indi's storyline no end. While the ending of her romance with Chris is still frustrating, at least it ends on a vaguely positive note and Indi claws back a bit of likability.
Meanwhile, Roo's storyline is kept in the background and, while we get her snapping at Irene, her breakdown provides necessary catharsis.
It's great to see Nina again, although it's hard to see this ending positively. It's also good to see John and Marilyn spending time together, although it's a shame that we don't get to see their almost-date.Marilyn implying she went to school in Yabbie Creek is a bit left field.
