It's improving.

Jo gets an important piece of information from Chris, The Caretaker, but when she turns up, Chris has vanished. Jo's growing frustrations with Pat and Kelly continue.

I actually think it's getting better, I'm finding the mystery rather intriguing, it's definitely benefited from the arrival of Tasha.

There are definitely lots of questions coming out of this one. Has Lee bumped Danny off, is he hiding something? Is he lying about knowing the true story of Danny's identity.

Philip Glenister has been too quiet so far, he's going to have a big part to play, I'm sure.

I once again have to question Jo's ability to do her job, she's breaking every rule under the sun, and getting rewarded for it, I struggle to believe that she'd get away with half of this.

Jo really needs to ditch that awful family, the whole lot of them.

7/10.

Connections

PC Joanna Marshall quickly finds that random strangers are not so random.

She found hero of the hour, Lee Ellison. It turns out that Lee knows Tasha Eden and he knew the dead victim Daniel Eden for many years.

Of course Lee is shocked to find out Daniel is dead. Tasha is angry that apart from Jo. No one in the police force is interested in investigating her brother's death.

The third episode explores more why Daniel changed his name to Alex Welland. What drove him to fake his death. Lee was more aware about this but reluctant to tell the police and Tasha.

It is noticeable once the flood and danger has past. This is a routine and a not so exciting thriller.

There is a suggestion here that Lee is hiding something and may have connections with a lot more people that Jo also knows.
