MOBARAKNAMA
pothikshl17 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
If a woman is raped by her elder sister's husband, she wants to cover up the incident for fear of losing respect in the society. The same can be seen in this series. And the eminent lawyer Mubarak Bhuiyan stands strongly next to that victim Suraiya. The lawyer against was Sabnin. After that, the argument started in the courtroom.

After playing OC Haroon, Musharraf Kareem was excellent as lawyer Mubarak in this series. Helplessness of the character, great dialogues, he fits the role of the lawyer in the court very well. Besides, Shahnaz Sumi gave a career best performance as Suraiya. In short, amazing. On the other hand after a long time Jenny impressed with beautiful acting. Shawn was great. Besides, everyone was impressed with the fluent acting.

The series will be very enjoyable to.

Being very Honest

Warning: Spoilers
HONEST VEIWS.

Recently, OTT platform Hoichoi released a series of content named Mobaraknama, starring Mosharraf Karim, Shahanaj Shumi, Jeni, and others.

As before, Mosharraf did what he did. He protraited the character of a lawyer deeply. His phycological play was spell-bounding. He is a gem. He loves to prove it,and he proved it again.

Shahanaj Shumi justified her character very properly. Especially her bold presentations and acting, boost women's empowerment and self-respect. The plot stands against the biggest social illness, and that is rape. Mobarak, the lawyer, trailed the case and gave the victim justice. Five episodes will not make you bored, but they will disappoint in many aspects.

Firstly, the scripter failed to tell a court story rather than a psychological play. He didn't mention under which section the case was filed or what verdict the accused got.

Secondly, when it is a case of rape, the investigation should be very significant. Some questions are very common: where is the mat on which the rape was done; where are the dresses the victim and the accused wore that night; what about simen marks; what about DNA tests; what about fingerprints; what about resisting injuries? The director would have taken care of all these.

The defense was trying to prove that the victim was characterless. She should know rape is rape, even if it is done with a prostitute.

Finally, no police investigation or crime scene investigation was found, so the case seemed very untested.

Ending with a question to the director Is it fine that a younger daughter would rape in front of a mother and she would remain quiet, whatever the circumstances were?

Mobaraknama: Stellar Performances Dimmed by Lackluster Script and Oversight
sudip_rulz22 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Hoichoi's recent release, "Mobaraknama," featuring Mosharraf Karim showcases a stellar cast delivering commendable performances. Mosharraf Karim, in particular, once again demonstrates his prowess in portraying characters, particularly those of lawyers, with a captivating psychological depth. The series addresses the pressing social issue of rape, with Mobarak, the lawyer, tirelessly pursuing justice for the victim across five episodes.

Despite the strong performances, the series falls short in various aspects. The scripting falters, as it neglects to delve into the intricacies of a court story and fails to provide essential details. The narrative also overlooks crucial elements of a rape investigation, leaving unanswered questions about the crime scene, the presence of evidence, and the absence of forensic examinations.

Some of the arguments and counter arguments were very undeveloped and unformed. A glaring plot inconsistency involving of the victim's mother adds another layer of dissatisfaction.

In conclusion, while the ensemble cast, particularly Mosharraf Karim and Shahanaj Shumi, delivers praiseworthy performances, the series is let down by a rudimentary storyline and poorly researched scripting. The neglect of essential details and the lack of a comprehensive investigation into the central crime diminish the overall impact of "Mobaraknama."
