Alfons and Hamdi play war, but Hamdi's father, who has been in a real war, says that such things are terrible and only destroy. He tells a war memory of his own about an ant.
Alfons is saving for a computer game. But it is difficult to save and give up sweets and pleasures - and the temptation to cheat becomes so great that he deceives himself.
Alfons's cousins come to visit. They think Alfons and Milla are childish and don't want to play with them. Instead, they destroy everything that has been prepared and there is chaos and disorder.
"Alfons are you there?" Dad calls out, and it sets off an imaginative mind trip, which takes Alfons underground, up in the air, in and out of people's minds.
Alfons wants to be an inventor and together with Milla and Hamdi he comes up with lots of clever inventions, things that are missing and really needed.
Alfons doesn't want to eat dinner even though dad, who has cooked meatballs, does everything to get him to the table. But Alfons stubbornly refuses. Instead, he wants to play with the cat Puzzle.
