Most of this episode is fine but the ending just leaves a bad taste in the mouth, with Paul's hypocrisy and the dreadful use of continuity. It's a laugh to have Paul accuse the Turners of getting preferential treatment when he's yet again suffered no consequences whatsoever for his latest crime and is now eyeing up his next victims. And as for the sledgehammer subtle references to Brad Willis and the rather pointless appearance by Lucy, it all seems a horrible waste and leaves the audience with the absurd idea that a 90s himbo could end up as a school teacher.
Before that, we get a good return appearance by Hayes and some fairly decent No.26 stuff, although more trouble between Kyle and Georgia has long passed the point of being entertaining.Kate and Mason continue to be good together but Paul ruins even that.
