Boring, disjointed, narrated by people with no idea of what they're commenting on. A disappointing attempt in the reality TV sector. This show could be great, but it's let down by awful storyline production. I really wanted to like it, but honestly couldn't.
The crews involved in this deserve a much stronger show outlining their difficult jobs, but what is portrayed is weak. I'm not sure if this is because the crews did not have access to enough in what is an awkward area of TV to cover without sign-off from the victims. Regardless, what has been produced, from my observation of the pilot, is turgid, dull, too high-level, and does not engage.
The licence taken by the producer is also evident, with editing making the whole scenario laughable to anyone with the slightest knowledge of outback activities.
