On the one hand this pitches itself as a show to help young people who have been dealing with personal issues build self confidence. On the other hand it is a gameshow where the participants are set against each other and week by week booted off and sent home. Having watched the first few episodes these contradictory premises don't often sit well together and sometimes the setup even feels exploitative. It's kind of a shame really as within the format you have the premise for two pretty decent shows but as I say the issue is the way they've taken the two ideas and mashed them together or possibly started with the gameshow element then looked for a way to up the personal stakes. At the start are personal videos selectively edited so that dramatic revelations can be made later on even if it makes one or two look bad at the start. I am sure each week each contest will leave saying how much they learnt but I still can't help feel they are being exploited.

I really wanted to like it...

...but I have a brain, so I couldn't. Utterly dreadful. Spoilt by the contestants who were nether likeable nor relatable. If the program was made without them it would by 100 times better. It's like Who Dares Wins but without the budget, without the character and without any form of viewability, if that's even a word. Still look on the bright side, at least there is something better to watch on Netflix, like just about anything at all. If you want to see chavs embarrassing themselves then go ahead and watch it, otherwise read a book for a bit more excitement and drama. Sorry this has gone on bit there is a minimum word limit.
