Back in 2006, a man known as Anthony Carter is rushed to hospital with severe symptoms. It soon becomes apparent that Carter is former KGB Colonel Alexander Litvinenko, and that he's been taken out with polonium 210.
Narrated by Patricia Hodge, this documentary accompanied The 4 part ITV dramatisation of the story, Litvinenko.
It links various interviews, news segments, parliamentary speeches and snippets from the drama.
It's an interesting watch, it gives further details of the case, including a bit of detailing on exactly what polonium 210 is.
Marina Litvinenko's interviews were very interesting, and made me wonder if she had a hand in the drama, I'm not sure she'd have taken part in this if she'd disagreed with any of it.
It's an interesting watch.
7/10.
