It's been a long time since we've seen a community event like this:The last one was probably the fundraiser for Irene's breast cancer a year ago and that didn't have anything like the turnout we see here.Aside from a couple of characters whose absence gets explained in offhand remarks, all the regulars are here and most of them get their moments in the spotlight.Romeo and Indi's looking after the nipper is mildly interesting and could probably have done with more attention and Alf gets some good Master of Ceremonies bits.
Of the characters we focus on, Casey and Sasha have another clash after she jumps to conclusions on seeing him with another girl.Indigo makes a much better adviser to her than Natalie did but the end result is Casey deciding to keep his distance.Meanwhile, there's some nice work for John and Gina as they work together to discipline Jett, although it's telling that it's Gina who initially wants to let him off the hook. Marilyn's reaction is nicely ambiguous.
The development of Bianca and especially Heath in the aftermath of Rocco's death continues to be pleasing.While Bianca lashes out at everyone to the point that even Liam sticks up for Heath, Heath seems to be putting a positive spin on things and his speech at the charity presentation is a heartwarming moment.
