Excellent host and beautiful journeys!

I've been self isolating at home for 24 days now, and I happened to watch an episode of this on TV. Now , I'm hooked! Every day is different journey, traveling around the world while staying at home! Filippe is an excellent host, always smiling, and a great interviewer when talking with people! I love that we don't see the mainstream-touristic places in each country, but discover less known places and different traditions! Well done!

Amazing journeys, extra ordinary interviews, feel-good series

I discovered this series on Greek tv by accident, while zapping around. Eversince I've watched almost all episodes. Although it is a travel series, what makes it unique is Mr Googler's personality: a kind smiling man who manages to start interesting conversations (not always on easy topics) with people of various backgrounds and different cultures. The routes are out of the ordinary and the rythm is smooth. I love that the traveller grasps opportunities and seems to change his episode storyline based on what is happening at the moment. It is feel-good, easy going series, leaving a sense of peace, sweetness and unpolished encounters like the ones people have when they travel themselves. I love to watch it and hope that they produce more seasons!

A lot of journeys with nice encounters.

I enjoyed the journeys of Philippe Gougler, because I like travel by train and Philippe has shown us very famous and mythical trains.

But Philippe travels also on ordinary trains and meets there a lot of interesting people.

The encounters are the main point in these doducmentaries: very interesting encounters in very differents countries: the young Japanese at the Hanami festival in Japan, the miner of Potosi, the buddhist nun in Vietnam, the marathon runner in Namibia, the female healer in South Africa, the priest and builder in Romania or the Lolita girls in Taiwan.

Philippe has tasted strange foods in Norway, Sweden, Ecuador, South Korea and Cambodia, has shared the lives of of hunters in Sri Lanka and has danced square dance in Vienna.

Besides he has spoken with train passengers about their countries ( hope in South Africa, the smile in Thailand and Vietnam, the social restaint in Japon ).
