A really well done indie film. Great acting, quality production and the script is a winner. Loved the role Korrina Rico played, she is super talented and really shined in this one. Support this indie film and watch Los Angelas.
A classic in the making

This indie film tells the story of 2 actresses that mysteriously vanish 30 years apart, which in itself is an intriguing story hook. But what really sets this film apart, is the layered story telling ad the way it goes back and forth in the time line. Many actors I have never seen before but also some very familiar ones, like David Proval and Charlotte Lewis. The bad guy, Walt Warshaw, played by Jon Jacobs turns in a simply iconic performance. Can't praise it enough, loved it!
A revelation in indie film making

I heard about this new indie film from a friend who raved about it. This is a low budget indie but looks stylish as hell (I googled some of the background of this film and found out it was made on a micro budget). When you watch this movie it's impossible to tell though. Fine acting, a very deep and twisted story, innovative editing, the list goes on.
Seriously impressed with this one!

" Lost Angelas" is a low-budget indie which rotates from being sweet, innocent, romantic, sexy, sadistic and terrifying. This is a stylish, millennial indie that expands from the norms accepted in previous movies. With that being said, this is not a movie for big budget action fans. Don't expect to see a hundred million dollar action movie or you will be disappointed.
However, the performances are gripping and the chemistry between the actors are undeniably strong. The soul-searching story kept me hooked for the ninety minutes. Meanwhile my brother found the complex premise floating past him and right over his head.
I expect this indie to have this type of reception, as polarizing as the film's gutsy ending.
I recommend this movie, especially if you are interested in indie films and art house movies. Interesting note - the trailer showed this movie won an award in a category that was given to movies made for less than a hundred thousand dollars.

I watch quite a few indie films and this has to be one the best I have seen in quite some time. It goes to show that if you dig deep enough you can find some true gems. Wonderful directing and acting, this film has such a nice, mysterious atmosphere and a great ever-unraveling story line, I just had to keep watching. If you love indie films, you gotta check this one out!

Lost Angelas, Written and Directed by William Wayne.
William Wayne plays Jake Hart a screenwriter trying to get his big break. His current occupation is a bartender. While visiting a local coffee shop, he meets the breathtaking beautiful Angela Rose (Korrina Rico). A lively conversation is struck between them and he learns she is a struggling actress and also an events promoter.
They soon start a romantic union. This sparks creativity which in turn helps him complete his next screenplay. There love is so strong they become engaged. The screenplay he is writing, is about legendary film star Angie Malone. She is played by legendary actress Charlotte Lewis. Jake has interest for Angela Rose to play the lead role. The story of Angie Malone is legendary, when she faked her death to gain fame. But was it fake or a elaborate publicity stunt.
Things are looking good and big time producer Walt Warshaw (Jon Jacobs) sets up a meeting with Jake and is totally interested. What Jake doesn't expect upon meeting Walt is witnessing him brutally killing 2 guys.
The 2 strike up a deal, if Jake helps get rid of the bodies he will make the movie and have Angela in the lead. Walt has additional insurance, a knife with Jakes prints. The movie is a critical hit and gets numerous nominations but box office bomb. Will the critics love it word of mouth is not good and it's not filling seats. A plan is made to have Angela disappear just like the title character to generate hopefully interest.
So events and award shows come and go and Angela is no where to be scene or heard from. Publicity is going through the roof and coverage is all over. She is winning awards for her performance and is missed. Now when it's time for her to come out of hiding she is nowhere to be found and now the police and Angela's dad want answers!
Angela's Dad (David Proval) and goons want answers from Jake. They plan to get them anyway they can. Little by little through there beatings it starts to stir Jakes memories. All is not good and not at all what it seems. Hollywood is a crazy place and crazy things are happening. Is Angela Alive or dead?
People and situations are not always what you are shown and things will be played out and explained that will leave you shaking your head in surprise of the outcome.
William Wayne does a tremendous job with this wink at the industry. He does a tremendous job and pretty much wore all hats to assure perfection. By Writing, Directing, Editing , Producing and starring, made it a challenge but it paid off. Along with a strong performance from himself, his supporting cast also played there parts and made this work. Jon Jacobs was deviously fun to watch him through his scenes. His crazy personality he portrayed, injected so much.
But the stand out here is William Wayne, every seen he is in is so well done you are drawn into his world. You personally feel his struggle and anguish on what his relationship with Angela goes through to achive the Hollywood dream.
This is a very well written and not so far fetched look at the seedier part of the glamours of Hollywood and the price people pay to become famous. Cinematography by(Ana Maria Manso) and editing is unbelievable and brilliant for a low budget movie. This is on par with a high budget Hollywood blockbuster. William is gifted here with such talent and it all comes together on the screen. His use of light and obscure angles make it very creative visually to watch!
After all it's Hollywood where dreams are made and broken at any price...even murder.

How cool is this film!?

I really liked it. I know it's one of those low budget films (actually I checked and it's a so-called 'micro budget' film) but they somehow pulled it off to make it look like a fairly major production. The characters are well-rounded and the plot thickens as you watch (I have to watch it again with friends to see what they think happened at the end!) Full of surprises and a beautiful score. Whoever is behind this little beauty has a bright future.
I would definitely recommend this one to indie film lovers (I already have- to a bunch of my buddies). Check it out, guys!
Low Budget Indie with a new twist and perspective on the age old love triangle.

This is a small indie film that has a few recognizable faces and is quite thrilling as the protagonist starts to fall into madness.
The protagonist, an undiagnosed schizophrenic screenwriter falls in love with a beautiful starlet named Angela played by Korrina Rico. She falls into the clutches of the villain, a deranged psychopathic movie director and fulfills her destiny before disappearing "off the face of the earth."
The colors of this movie are entrancing and the actors give some stand out performances which carry the story through. Overall I would say it is an entertaining and maddening look into a young man's psychotic break. The editing style reaffirms this and delivers a high energy plot twist ending.
