Excruciatingly bad

Look, found footage is one of my favorite sub-genres (for horror, sci fi, or however it can be pulled off well). I don't have high standards with movies because I enjoy being entertained. I definitely want to support independent filmmakers, so I was super excited that an anthology series was made with short found footage stories. I can tolerate (and expect with shoestring budget projects) some bad acting, but these were absolutely horrible! I experienced so much second hand embarrassment from the acting, I had to stop some in the middle. It was so bad, it takes you out of the story...out of the experience.

Some of them I wasn't sure if the person was intentionally trying to overact or just be cheeky. Nope. That was their acting.

The stories actually stunk too. None were particularly original or fresh. The writing was truly atrocious. The second one was almost tolerable until the end when it fell apart.

I really think these need to be removed from streaming services and then give the filmmakers a redo, because this was really bad. I don't recommend these to anyone. I can see I am the first to review.

Good for a laugh

I'm all for the new directors getting their start, but this would be classified lower than a B movie. It's completely predictable and has almost no originality. As a novelist where was the suspense, what pulls the audience through the story. The first episode the characters are extremely forgettable. You heard booms at night ok it could be something why not try to figure out what it was, Instead the man just wanted to get out of there. Where did the "zombie " come from what caused the zombie. Maybe the booms came from a secret government testing site that had a breach. The story has potential but needs A LOT of rewrites to have it make sense. The first episode has no story really it looks an awful lot like one of my books when I start writing. I start with the middle of the story and work backwards to fill in the beginning then writing the ending or cliffhanger if I want to do multiple books on the same story. I like I said it has potential I have thought of about 10 different ways to tell this story to give it a beginning, middle, and end. I would not recommend this to anyone but maybe a film student so they can see what not to do.

Awful, bad and dyer oh my!

I love found footage and I love anthologies! So I thought that I might enjoy this but I started with the second episode (don't ask why), the girls wig was so cheap and bugged me so badly!!!!!!!! The whole "Coffee is my friend" no one says that and if you do then you're a dick!

I found this so hard to take serious, a girl is sleeping but is waking up tired so she records herself sleeping. Then she sends it to her friend, then sends the video to a doctor! No one has ever done that in the history of ever! What doctor has time to watch a 8 hour video?!?!?! Ridiculous, painful and so bad that I wasted even 5 minutes on this.
