Kristen's Past Revealed
shelbythuylinh7 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
When undercover in Miami we learn about Kristen's past as a young lady is rescued there. But that the young lady that has in the not whom she seems to be and you have to watch the ending to see what I mean on it there.

And that like the young lady, Kristen was burned and beaten and that it is personal for the agent there. She and the team must get Kristen's nemesis before he kills others and uses women for sex trafficking on it there over in a diamond heist there. As one person is killed over it.

It leads over to a final showdown with the villain and Kristen and that even with him in handcuffs there. It is either he goes to prison or death there.

Nice to show a nice tender moment with the divorce agent and mom of two with her daughter in talking about a tattoo or not.

Alexa Davalos is the only bright spot

Warning: Spoilers
Julian McMahon is the main reason this show has fallen apart. Compare this cast with that in season one. Barnes and Gibson remain but McMahon and Crosby are gone. Ortiz replaced Crosby and he's gone too. Crosby would've been THE rising star in the FBI. I had a bad feeling when Kellen Lutz (Crosby) left the show very early in season 3. McMahon decided to depart for selfish reasons before the halfway point of season 3. His decision led other actors to lose their jobs as well. I thought CBS might cancel it. Maybe they should have.

In this episode, several cartel members are dead and Kristin decides to meet Lucia, her contact from her undercover work in Miami (fighting the cartel) years earlier. Remy Scott suggests meeting at a specific bar in Brooklyn and the two women meet outside - not inside - the bar. A sniper took out the patriarch of a cartel family (surrounded by federal agents) but not even Kristin is worried about their safety. The sniper takes a shot. It is ridiculous. Why are there no agents on rooftops looking for the sniper? One could easily make a case that Scott set this up to the detriment of Kristin. Apparently, crime drama writers allow no outside feedback because they keep doing the same thing. If it's not believable, it will ruin a show like the FBI series. Shows like "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and "Elementary" almost never had this problem because the writers and producers understood this.

Warning: Spoilers
It took a while for me, to come to like this show. But this episode is just not okay. One cannot make 4 rapid shots with a bolt action sniper rifle, without pulling back the bolt to chamber a new round. Why add such inconsistend and honestly, dumb scenes? Give the shooter a semi-auto rifle or let him fire off less shots. Overall I did not really expect things to keep on level, after a bunch of lead characters left the show (Jess, Ortiz). Kristin is fine as a tough agent with a troubled undercover past, but when I think of Barnes coming back from maternity leave (her "wife" had the baby) shaped like a whale and being sorta out of place, it makes me wonder, why not bury the whole thing with season 3?

As always , i agree with CrimeDrama1... so meeting outside and nobody thought about getting some snipers to cover the roofs?

That is lazy writing making mistakes like that..

Mcdermott is fine and brought an interesting character to the game to replace Mcmahon.. cause that one was an empty shell compared to season 1.. i have said it before.. he had, lets say, the recurring ghost of his wife always being talked about.. he had his kid.. his brother in law.. that people always forget.. they dont remember him anymore when they talk about past characters lol

anyway, jess had more depth.. but after they put his new love interest, he started to become bland.. when they just removed the daughter altogether... he pretty much didnt have anything else to do besides coming hose and chat with his girlfriend..

kellen lutz was alright.. kinda stubborn but a veteran, which always brings some good stories to the show.. hannah is boring.. she just have this half brother thing and nothing more.. gaines is as interesting as a door.. always with her constipated look and raspy whiskering..
