I've been seeing some bad reviews about this last episode, but I've got to say it is spectacular. Throughout the whole season we see Dre desperately craving for a partner, friend, whatever she can find, but every time someone tries to connect with her she pushes them away, acts cold, distant and judgmental. But finally, after 2 years, she finally meets someone, someone that cares about her, loves her, touches her, someone who WANTS her, and in the end, once again, she betrays their trust, she murders her partner... just to see her favorite artist. Just to follow a fantasy where she can swear to GOD that the moment she meets Ni'jah, she'll know that they're connected. It is absolutely heartbreaking, but you knew that from the start, didn't you? She is a serial killer, in no planet can you justify her actions, you knew from the start she was doomed, and yet we thought she could better herself, leave her past behind, appreciate other people over her fantasy, but of course, once it stings, it stings forever. This was an incredible way to end the series, it is ambiguous wether this actually happened or not and I think that's amazing. I would definitely watch this TV show again and again.

This is a minor complaint, but why did they have to transplant a face onto someone else's body? Why couldn't they just let that body model play Nijah considering there was not really much acting involved?
I don't know if there is a second season in store for this show, not sure we need one, but this was an interesting ride to say the least.
We are all a little bit too obsessed with celebrities these days, and I don't think this will convince anyone to stop idolizing them, but maybe it will shine a mirror to some people and get them to at least question if our fandom truly is the healthiest thing for us.
I don't know if there is a second season in store for this show, not sure we need one, but this was an interesting ride to say the least.

Or is it the end ? This is wrapped up so nicely it's not clear if season 2 is in order . Can we talk about the creep factor! Or the visceral nature of this show unfolding? Then there are the excellent characters and the main character !
We don't get a ton of horror shows and this delivered ! Engaging , unexpected and for what it is, it's none-the-less surprising!
The darker comedic aspects fit nicely but it mostly felt like horror to me. I can't binge good shows because they loose something so I took my time with this one ( a week haha) Having no idea what to expect didn't matter for this but is always a nice touch imo. The episodes are in order and they build fyi. The ending felt perfectly executed !!

Contrived at best with one of the worst cinematic endings I have ever suffered. A WTF groan of a movie. I tagged this with a two- instead of a one-star only due to the lead actor's skill. That said, are you supposed to be admiring acting chops during a performance? Or is that proof that there is no cohesive plot or script to draw you in? So many missed opportunities yet it felt like the directors wildly banged really hard at nothing most of the time. Was the detective supposed to be so ridiculous as to include us in the joke that is this film? If so, it was much too little and way too late. Find another film.

It pulled me in..watched the first 4. Binged them. Odd movie..they left open holes..lots of questions.. the end was AWFUL....this will make me not recommend it.....was she dreaming at the end....what happened to the police that was on her trail...what happened to the police searching her van.
If the ladt episode was clear...I'd b a big fan. Usually there are 8 shows...why didn't you make the 8th episode to pull loose end or some loose ends together.
Why fid the 2 girls live on there own. Was Dre on meds...why did rissa really kill herself...that part was toooo weak.
Who is ni Jah supposed to b actually I the Danny glover...the actors too...every one did a good job. Thx.
