A great little meta horror.

In what is essentially a meta sequel to their first feature Hacked, 3 Keys Media have pretty much knocked it out the park.

Darren returns, having been hired to write a screenplay based on the events of Hacked given his involvement in the events and must work his way through the trauma that still haunts him and the imposter syndrome that troubles all writers at times.

I really enjoy what everyone has accomplished here. The film in comparison to Hacked is well polished and production wise is considerably better showing a great improvement, even from their second feature Shadowmarsh which itself was a massive step up from the covid production. Performances are great, Jackson Turner does well carrying the lead role, playing a man trying to work through his past by putting it to paper but struggling with the confusion surrounding the events.

The meta stuff works though it won't be to everyones cup of tea, but that's always going to happen.

I really enjoy that we do get more of this story and am impressed that they made the progression make sense. When I heard that they were continuing Hackeds story I wasn't sure what angle they would take but I'm pleased with this one.

Love everything they've done so far and cannot wait for the future.
