What a great episode!!! I'd bump the series to 9.0... just for this one!!

I've been watching this series since day one.... during the daytime of course. Hats off to all the directors that have given so much to this series as far as quality and unique talents in bringing this together, with the help of HBO no doubt.... cutting edge television for sure. This particular episode definitely moves forward in directing and acting talents by all involved, which keeps this show more exciting then ever. I only hope that this quality of HBO television will care on for many a full moon. I found myself laughing out loud at many situations in this episode and still intensely focusing which direction the show was going to go. I've always respected the 8.0 rating this series has earned but I think I'll give it a 9.0 for this episode by itself....very good job!

For a season premiere this episode didn't feel any more interesting or special than any other episode we've seen so far. Particularly because there are so many storylines and so many things happening that it's hard to do anything new at this point. This episode had it's funny and weird moments and threw in some new plotlines, but there were also some continuing plotlines from previous seasons thrown in too. It's hard to predict where this season's gonna go, but there's one character that went through a major transformation and that's really the only plot that I think will be interesting, so hopefully they do some good things with that.

(S5. E1) My Live Reaction / Review for True Blood Season 5 Episode 1 ''Turn! Turn! Turn!''. Season 4 was good and I gave it a rating of 9/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. Newlin is a vampire, that's crazy. Newlin is gay and he is in love with Jason? That's even more crazy. Eric has a sister? And he is kissing her? That's disgusting. Russel, the King is free? That's nice. So now we have to wait and see if Tara will turn into a vampire, that would be really cool. So now Bill and Eric have fake identities to avoid the true death, I don't know how to feel about that. So Tara is now a vampire, that's pretty cool. Overall a really good episode, my rating is 9/10.
