Not worthwhile!!
maxisnaresh12 June 2023
This is nothing but a mediocre movie which failed make use of good opportunities and turn into a thriller.

There wasn't any element in the movie that glued my eyes to screen or sparkled my curiosity.

Direction was average, script was below average and acting as a whole was just okay. It could have been made much better. I expected more during 2nd half, but alas!

Rajeesha Vijayan performed well and Vinay Fort was okay. Priya Varrier was a failure in the role. There's nothing exciting about the movie. I won't recommend watching it in theatres. May be one can watch it in OTT later.... That's all. Not worthwhile!

Northing more, nothing less

The movie had a solid story but the creators failed to impress the audience. The movie started well and I was enjoying the cat-and-mouse game throughout. Vinay Forrt and Alencier did justice to their respective roles and the lead characters were fine too.

I expected a thriller element in the story but was disappointed. The film could have surprised the audience with some wow moments but there was nothing and the ending was the worse part of the movie. I don't understand the meaning of the climax at all, what was the whole point of that? Who knows.

Last but not least, the shooting locations are becoming common in the movies and as usual most of the locations in this movie are shot in areas near Thodupuzha, Muvattupuzha.

Warning: Spoilers
Something wrong has happened to bobby sanjay there recent movies end up pretty boring. Kolla is simply kapoor man's ocean's eleven with boring main lead. The acting is very boring rajeesha is same as her every movie, her role doesn't really impress , The makeover scene as nun and climax scene hair cut scene she just look the same. Priya warrier as usual doesn't matter whether she's in the movie or not , no suspense or thrilling elements it just fall flat. They could have made a better movie with the same plot with more thrilling elements and better actors . The incident shown in movie happened for real yet it was not worth watching.

the entire suspense was given away at the start
ngandacinema5 August 2023
The fact that the entire robbery execution was already unveiled at the start took away the suspense and thrill

DELICIOUS

-The colors blue and orange were omnipresent in the film. Blue stood for Annie's intuitive, imaginative, sharp, and sensitive personality, while orange stood for Shilpa's energy & happiness.

-Great work on the cinematography and the lighting. We loved the handheld motions and the abrupt camera movements during the chase scene

BLAND

Kolla, in of itself, was not a bad movie. It's just the way it was presented.

-The fact that the robbery being at the center of the story was already unveiled within 20min of the film, it deflated the excitement and curiosity. We knew who the thieves were and the rest was how they were going to get caught.

-There was no major backup plan from the thieves or a clever way to fool the investigators. Everything was already laid out

-Though Rajisha and Priya were friends in the film, we didn't see them exchanging pleasantries or having a nice time together; they were very cold and their relationship felt unnatural

-Overall, there wasn't any major lesson to take away from the story, it was mostly about a robbery and the quest to capture the thieves.

Worth Watching

Well made movie away from the usual youth/ millennial centric themes.

Rajeesha excels in her role throughout and takes the movie along with her.

Vinay& his deputy does their part exceedingly well. Alancier stays predictable as always to his high expectations. Priya looked out of sorts, more seemingly because of the unusual serious nature of the played character.

The debut director looks to have done a decent job, despite a surprisingly loose script which according to me made the second half and the end not that engrossing.

It could have been made better with a little more anticlimax, considering the fact that the movie theme is revolving around a heist.

Overall worth watching....
