Impressed with their Guns, but maybe more by their Work Ethics
ebiros211 October 2012
The series takes similar format to the "American Chopper" series, that's been a hit for the Discovery Channel.

One thing I can say is that these people are really good. Especially Rich. He can deal like nobody's business, and can design cool guns as well. His has style too. Showing up on a helicopter with bag full of cash.

Another thing I'm impressed with is the work ethics of the people who works at Gun Smoke. I'm also impressed with Kurt, and Paige. How many kids these days takes their job as seriously as they do ?

When I watch this show, the words "Only in America" always comes to my mind. It's got humor, technology, opulence, and everything done over the top.

My one request, will Rich build a suppressed Bushmaster 308 with subsonic rounds for me ?

Good but overpriced.

The creativity, craftsmanship and quality of the guns they make are outstanding. So is their work ethic. The only problem I have is the prices they charge. They charged a minister $10,000 for one handgun. Really? Then the botoxed out wife complains that the husband didn't charge enough. There's no way that gun cost $10,000 or more no matter how much they CnC'd the pieces. But its fun and they know what their doing. The prices are only high for some of their custom items, and off the shelf items. Their engraver is awesome. But the only problem employee is Scott. In comparison to the Sons Of Guns show, American Guns has them beat in everything. American Guns makes their own guns too, but doesn't claim to be opening up a new market like the Sons Of Guns guys do because they know that it already exists.

No one wants reality shows with all the drama
themosquito17 October 2022
Most people tune in to a show like this to learn about firearms...building them, features about them, historical weapons and in general the nuts and bolts of the topic. When will reality show producers learn people value education of a topic far over creating false drama between people on the show. We all deal with workplace dramatics and don't want to watch a show that reminds of stupid antics of people we work with day in and day out. The women in the show seem to think showing their assets is another way to improve the show. Egos are ablaze all over the place on this show and it would be very refreshing to focus on guns, not drama, half naked women, and egos overflowing out of the tv and on my floor. I see why this show ended, each episode was more ridiculous than the last. The people on the show appear to be talented in their craft, but alas Hollywood came calling and all the viewer gets is the same lame formula that ruins every show.
