While The Consultant has been incredibly weird from the get go I have been waiting for that episode that really just makes you shake your head and question what is going on.

This was that. We had two characters go to a make shift bar, something that seemed half cult like and half out of the future and then they ended up performing a murder that turned into a kidnapping that turned into nothing.

I am high on this show and its prospects moving forward but this episode was a little bit too far out there. I hope that this was just a one off and did not set the stage for the tone the rest of the season.

So, three episodes in, we have a continuation of the craziness of a consultant (from Mars, perhaps) whose behavior seems to put his people to some sort of test. The show's ethos is what he does. He never seems to be phased by anything. Here, Craig is about to go out for the evening, when the Boss invites himself along. He make frightening comments in the first bar, implying he and Craig may end up fighting nine guys. We also meet a young one-legged woman, but we don't know who she is or how she fits in. They all seem to be a part of the Boss's world. Craig is terrified. We have these people who make terrifying video games, but seem frightened when it comes to reality. Meanwhile, Elaine uses her time to go into the Records Room, hopping to find what the guy has on her.
