Where was the writing and directing for this episode?

There was so much potential with the storyline that this should have at least been a two-parter. Why not address why cops are leaving the force? Why are there so many police shootings? Show the commissioner and head of the New York diocese actually talking to people on the streets, addressing the lack of faith and issues with the police and the church. Everything was rushed, seriously Jamie gets out of the hospital in a few days! Ugh!

Too many cliches. Too much preachiness. Too stilted. Not enough heart.

Hope the rest of the season is better.

JUMPED THE SHARK

Well I was waiting for Blue Bloods to be unwatchable and we have it. Largest PD in the world and 2 Brothers, a sister, and a nephew ironically on the same case with the same perp. The world's greatest shot on a bouncing boat with a large caliber pistol from 1 hand. Please, I loved this show but just end it. Focus on storylines that are interesting. Don't write Edie and Jamie into a story just because there's nothing else for them. Just give them another simple story or have them rescue a dog or something else. Every scene was the most extreme and completely unbelievable. A biker gang outside a Police Station? C'mon. It's over.
