And so we learn more and more about the mystery surrounding Regus' arrival and what exactly is going on at this company. The idea of a records room in such a technologically advanced building is definitely funny and all of the subtle jabs about the modern day workplaces at tech companies is something I appreciate having previously worked in one.

Amazon Prime Video has a good program here and I just hope that they can keep the momentum going with it. I expect some absurdities to come in the future for The Consultant, but let's just hope it does not get too far or off the rails or they'll lose viewers.

I Need Some Tightening

This is just surreal enough to be workable. Who is this guy? Why is he here? What does he want? What's with the secret room? He calls the young woman at three in the morning and she shows up. As badly as he treats people, a certain loyalty begins to emerge. He is saving the company, even though he throws out all the work they have already done. Of course, ego and money are prime motivators. Along the way, the dead man's mother shows up and he takes her off and she is not seen again. This is like the movie where no one can leave. The door is open, but they stay at the mansion. And the final scene is a real mind bender.
