Again, the right move by Mike Baxter
bombersflyup20 September 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Perkins doesn't want to value bet his two pair, Mercier raises with K7 suited and Perkins calls with K10 offsuit on the button, flop comes KA10, Mercier check calls Perkin's bet of 5000, turn comes an 8 giving Mercier a flush draw and he check calls Perkin's bet of 17000, river comes a 7 making Mercier two pair and they both check. The guy stacks off with bottom pair, but isn't interested in value betting two pair. Voulgaris just calls a re-raise with pocket Kings and then folds to a Q94 rainbow flop. I don't know what I just saw, if that's a bad flop then there's no good flop. Possibly the worst play I've ever seen. Greenstein also continuation bets every single hand ever, but that's not relevant here. He won a lot off Perkins and wants to keep it in case Barry re-raised with Aces, is the only theory I can muster, but then you shouldn't even call the re-raise? Shouldn't be on the table if he can't afford the stakes. Greenstein raises with KQ suited and gets two callers, flop comes 44Q and Barry continuation bets 5000 and Baxter raises to 15000 with trips holding A4 suited and Barry calls Baxter down all the way without the board changing for a pot of 261000. I thought Greenstein would beat this game easily, but he has struggled, gifted money by Voulgaris and Perkins and still big loser.
