"Are you gonna behave if I let you go?"
skteosk26 April 2011
Warning: Spoilers
The aftermath of the party is handled pretty badly, with no-one coming out of it with any credit.Ruby's trying to cover up her involvement in things even if she does stand by Casey and isn't particularly likable here.Despite Charlie's rather dogmatic attitude, the whole Romeo and Juliet thing is becoming rather tired.Charlie, disappointingly but predictably, after actually behaving like a police officer in similar circumstances last year, is now unprofessional at best and corrupt at worst as she hides Ruby's involvement in things.Brax demonstrates an inability to grasp Charlie's ethics as he tries and fails to blackmail her.And then the episode ends with Charlie proving she's her daughter's mother by being just as "easy" and making out with some guy she hardly knows.

The other plot line involves Nicole putting on a demonstration of her new surf club designs. This suffers from some incredibly bizarre staging (the "private" presentation takes place in a public club where a random like Marilyn can sit and watch), some unbelievable stupidity from Nicole (who in their right mind would make a lifesaving uniform pink?) and John's insensitivity being raised a notch too high(walking away from a crying Nicole).

Oh-and Irene and Colleen are only in this episode because their contracts say they have to be.
