It's actually very easy to sympathise with Ruby here.Although she was obviously wrong to sleep with Indigo's boyfriend, it's obvious that she has genuinely fallen for Romeo and she seems sincere about thinking they were going to split up.Romeo starts the episode being fairly reasonable towards her but, for the second episode running, listens to some rather dubious advice, this time from Liam, and ends up treating her badly, which makes the situation worse if anything. It's clear Indigo's going to find out at some point but Romeo, and indeed most of Summer Bay aside from Ruby, doesn't seem prepared to tell her and it'll be interesting to see how it all works out.
Meanwhile, Elijah struggles to deal with his new family, including Thabo's difficulties in coping with his new situation. There's a nice subversion of expectations as he and VJ meet and actually get on quite well, with what looks like the beginnings of a new friendship.
