The little girl who plays the main character in this is amazing! She has been nominated for best actor award, and rightly so. I like how this film shows a vastly different way of life from anything that most viewers are likely to ever experienced. The cinematography showcases the remote landscape, and when the camera pulls back to reveal nothing but a gigantic white screen of a snowfields, with a little dot of the 10 year old girl alone in the middle of it, I really felt scared for her. An understated and powerful film.
