Those accents, oh those accents

Warning: Spoilers
Nino Cimino is back again, self-funding a movie so that he can be the hero and get the love scene. He's got charisma, I'll give him that. This makes his movies watchable at least, despite the consistently piss awful acting, writing, directing, and production values involved. As far as this entry is concerned, I will say I was definitely entertained, at times. No, not due to any sublime directing or plot points, but due to the laughably bad western accents on display. Like, 5th grade class play bad. Could devote a PHD thesis to which actor did it worse--Nino as our hero Nico? Chris Spinalli as evil Capt Harrison? Linda Wong as Nico's love interest Rita? Shane Ryan as the nefarious Deputy Adams? Each of these individuals is responsible for Western accents so bad, they make those 5th graders look like Brando.

Story is generic and derivative. Nico is double crossed after robbing a porta potty. He gets sent to a castle, er a prison, er someone's backyard for 5 years, grows a Fabio coiff, gets whipped with some silly string by an old man who in all seriousness looks like he's having a stroke, escapes prison by literally walking out the open front gate, gets revenge on his enemies. All while wearing contemporary western wear and muttering the exaggerated western dialogue that no one in those days actually used.

I'll give it a 3 because of the budget constraints and the endless entertainment provided by the accents. Those glorious accents.
