So glad to have this show back and while I never expect Masterpiece Theatre from it I do enjoy the light-hearted nature it takes. And as someone who works in the marketing field I have a new appreciation with every awkward encounter and pitch and client interaction they give to us.

I feel like the show is a little bit beneath some of the love triangle and love square stuff we get, but I also know that for a show probably tailored more toward a female audience we have to expect this. It was a solid start to the new season though and I like the idea of competing marketing agencies, one in Paris, one in Chicago.

I like Emily in Paris, even when I know it is always silly and unrealistic. But this episode was weird. Emily and Luke behave like total idiots without any reason. Emily knew she cannot do the two works without being discovered, it was impossible! And Luke told the "enemy" a lot of information for no reason at all. And as if that was not enough, Emily shouldn't have accepted a dinner the same day her lover went to London. And she lied to everyone! Except her roomie (By the way, that was the best part, her singing and the problem she now faces, like Emily she has a choice to do).

I was glad Emily is without anything for now, she deserves it. Of course, it will be solved, but for now, I am glad.
