Langston is obsessed to find Dr. Jekyll and uses his spare time to investigate the serial-killer by himself. When the reporter Heidi Custer is found dead dumped in a dumpster, Brass and the CSI's investigate the case. Soon her husband Aaron Custer comes to the precinct and accuses Langston to be connected to Dr. Jekyll and killed his wife. He tells to Brass and Catherine that Heidi was writing an article about Dr. Jekyll and had written an article about Langston that was censored by her editors. Conrad Ecklie suspends Langston, but Nick and the other CSI proceed his investigation with Langston supporting them with collected information.
