Epic controversy
Tammarazzi23 April 2022
Who is your God? Is he merciful and it's the devil that does horrendous things and your God that saves us? Or is he bored and enjoys torturing us? Does your God play with humans like toys for his amusement? Does your God insist on self inflicted pain and extreme self discipline to be in his good books. Are we just a science experiment? Or is this Satan posing as God? Is there a God period or is there something or someone pretending to be God? Interesting idea. I'm sure this will cause a big uproar if viewed widely. By the way, is the butler Jesus? Lol.

Interesting concept

The concept behind this was really fun. I'm not sure how it could be presented as anything but a short, but I would be curious to see what that looks like. I wasn't engaged at all by any of the acting, so the detachment issue was kind of buggy to me. Totally amusing though.

Ignorant and negative view on God.

Warning: Spoilers
I understand why people like to blame God for just about everything under the sun and so concepts like this reveal a tyrannical omnipotent being that goes out of his way to torture us for its own amusement. However, I would also like to point out that at the same time those same people are taking away every beautiful thing that has ever happened in the universe as all we can think about is our own suffering and how "important" that is. We are selfish and project our selfishness and hate on to God but take all the credit for everything we have built and for all of our knowledge we have gained, like we aren't just apes progressing through evolution that will one day fizzle out. And if you ask why even make us then I would say God didn't make us, at least not directly, but rather we are the product of a long chain of events kickstarted by God, maybe even a multiverse of individual universes containing all the good and all the bad possible through infinite iterations. My point is that instead of imaging God as all the worst parts of ourselves, maybe we should look at the selfishness and hubris of thinking God would come easy for us to understand, while also denying the appreciation for its creation because we suffer.

If there is a god, this is undeniably his nature.

A splendid and thoughtful consideration of the mythical being many call "god." I have, for many years, come to the conclusion that if god existed, he must enjoy, or at least be indifferent to, the unjust suffering of humans on earth. If god were truly omniscient as is claimed by his worshipers, than there is absolutly no reason for all of the living breathing horror and injustice that occurs on his side gig, earth. This brilliant little video places all of the ridiculous attributes assigned by men to god on full display. He is petty, vengeful, and wildly sadistic. He is the angry little boy that takes great pleasure in incinerating ants with a magnifying glass on a hot and boring summer day. A brave little film that punches far, FAR above its weight.
