What started off quite light-hearted has turned into an absolutely amazing, gripping drama.
The cast are all magnificent. The stories well thought out. Production values and Direction are fantastic. Having various storylines run throughout the whole series was a great idea and the mystery of Tannie Marie and her past life was not as simple as it seemed.
The recipes all looked delicious and hopefully Acorn TV will issue a Tannie Marie Cookbook based on the yummy dishes we witnessed over 10 glorious episodes.
Hopefully there will be a Series 2 as this has become essential viewing in our house.
