Lucy Bloom QC continues to pile the pressure on inside the courtroom. The Jury are taken to the alleged scene of the crime, and a photograph taken by a potential witness comes to light.
Something about this series just isn't working, and I can't quite put my finger on it, there's nothing wrong with the acting, perhaps it's the pacing, perhaps it's the storyline itself.
They are guilty of making this series too long, and as such it has lagged in the middle, I can forgive many things, but the problem here, it's just so boring. Nothing really happens, there's very little to drive the story, and several scenes are so long winded and unnecessary.
Some of the squabbling during the crime scene visit was interesting enough I guess, and you can't deny that Kate Mulvany has some presence.
I hate to say, but I'm long since bored of the various personal stories of The Jury.
5/10.
