Haven't read the book, thought the trailer looked awful but really enjoyed the fist couple of episodes and from what I've heard if they stay true to the story this could be epic.👍

I'm looking forward to getting to book 6. So watch it and be happy and remember that if you try to be some book purist we will only get a couple seasons and it will be stopped.
With that out of the way I am very pleased. They are actually taking alot of care with the story and the behind the scenes comentary with the folks making the series sheds alot of light on their decisions and they how they hve breathed life into this!
Can't wait for more!

Two Rivers is supposed to be a small area that's been isolated for 2000+ years, yet we have a hodge podge of different ethnic groups? After 1-2 generations they'd all look the same.
The show gives me more old attempts at D&D movie vibes than Game of Thrones or LOTR, which it should for the budget.
The real saving grace of the show is Rosamund Pike and Daniel Henney (Moiraine and Lan) the 4 kids are really wooden actors.
The only A+ this show gets is Moiraine's Magic. At least they did a decent job with the CGI there.
