After the credits a rich guy tries to abduct a woman in broad daylight. The onlookers are powerless against his men but a hero steps forward. The rich man loses his right hand in a short fight. Paul Chun Pui was the instigator and he tries to kill the hero but is not his match. Hero brings him to the family's house. Many people show up. One guy in particular seems to have a grudge with the hero.
My copy does not have English subtitles and I know no Chinese. The video is a square picture similar to an old VHS recording. By 20 minutes into the movie I found it impossible to follow the story because of all the dialog. There was also only two brief swordfights up to this point.
Another rich guy is harassing the townsfolk and hero comes to the rescue. This results in an extended sword fight sequence. This fight was overly ambitious in that the hero was surrounded by dozens of men again and again and fought his way out by s simple wave of the sword with stunt men flying off in every direction. The fights pick up at this point but never get any better than below average.
Unless this movie had fascinating dialog that I missed I found it to be below average for the year and genre based on poor, repetitious sword fights.
