Westbrook starts well, Morant with multiple 3's. Lakers up 6 at the half, looking for their first win of the season. Quality blocks at the rim by Lakers bigs Jordan and Davis, it doesn't deter Morant from attacking the rim with flair and vigour though, making up and under finishes and dunks, the Grizz lead by 3 after 3. Melo catches fire, the Lakers out to a handy lead, poor defense on a lot of these baskets though. Jackson outplayed for most of the night, does a nice drop-step with Memphis down 5 and under 2 minutes. Good activity by AD, game goes down to the wire, Lakers get over the line, in a much needed win. Memphis were +13 on the boards, the Lakers shot excellent from the field and 3 though and had 12 blocks. Morant with a stellar performance in a losing side, with a very efficient 40 points, 10 assists, 3 steals. Melo with an efficient 28 points and 2 blocks off the bench for the Lakers. Davis 22 points, 8 boards, 4 blocks. LeBron 19 points, 6 assists, 6 boards, 2 steals, 2 blocks. Westbrook 13 assists, 7 boards and 4 steals, but 9 turnovers and inefficient. Adams with 16 boards for the Grizz, 8 offensive.
