PG rated harmless and bland 'roast'. Keenan as the host is boring and not funny. Pete Davidson is marginally better. Dr. Phil is way past expiration date. Boring material from all the brothers and their sexy wives.

Not a real roast

It seems a Disney channel's roast, as soft as J. Brothers' faces. Jokes not very inspired despite Pete was there. But it's not a bad show. They're great guys and it's well produced.

Some good jokes here and there, but over all way to family friendly to be considered a proper roast.

Comedy central would have done a much better job.

I love a good roast (I mean I am English), but a good roast this was not.

Almost none of the jokes landed, everything felt really awkward as though people were too afraid to hurt each others feelings.

The only act that really made me laugh was Jack Whitehall, the two stars are for him and him alone.

Overall this was just bland and a poor attempt to replicate what comedy central has been doing for years to a MUCH higher standard.

Well what can I say, the humour is as cringe as it gets for a lot of the time; but a few of the roasters managed to get a chuckle out of me. Its nothing special but it's definitely a fun watch since i managed to stay entertained for the most part.

Not that funny

Roasts are supposed to be funny for audience, this was only successful in parts. Loved Priyanka and Sophie, rest of it could have been better scripted.

Waste of time, should've re-watched the Justin Bieber roast instead.

There was like 5 minutes of half decent material in this. The filler bits were unnecessary and so cringe, it's like they just needed to throw in some random bits to fill the time. They had like 5 jokes which they kept recycling. Timing was off and the writing was pretty bad as well. I think Netflix should leave the roasts to Comedy Central.

Some jokes were really funny, but it wasn't well balanced, it was littered with dull moments. It also felt like they were trying to play it safe, like a Disney roast🤣💀

This is rated 13+ on Netflix, so I guess they've totally missed their 7+ target.

I was always a huge fan of the Jonas Brothers growing up and still am. Most of the jokes I already expected and knew about. It was decent but there was something missing. I feel like if Comedy Central hosted this it would be way more raunchy. It felt sort of safe to me.

Highlights were definitely Joe, Pete, and Sophie. The rest were pretty good too.

As a Jonas brother fan, I thought the roast was pretty funny. Pete and joe were highlights for sure. I had a lot of good laughs and it was all in good fun! Entertaining.

It's the jokes we've always heard. Kevin is the most ignored, Joe has dated everyone and Nick, well "broke up the band". However, the banter between the brothers, their wives and Kenan was fun. Loved the song by John Legend too.

Unfortunately, there came Lilly Singh with her oh look I only gay woman of color in white male dominated industry and made the jokes about herself rather than the brothers themselves.

Comedy Central, please make another roast

Worst watch of 2021

It's like being at an awkward cousins 21st birthday that doesn't end. 40% of the show is the three of them standing up & applauding terrible jokes. Pete Davidson is awful, the whole thing is a train wreck start to finish.

Some funny parts amongst the cringe

American comedy shows feel the need to make a sketch out of everything so there are many cringey moments, and some guests who add nothing to the roast formula, but the roasts are good, especially Joe's.

Surprisingly fun

I enjoyed it. My boyfriend? Not so much, cause he was trying to sleep and i kept laughing next to him with my headphones on.

The only thing I didn't like was the scripted parts in the beginning and ending and Dr Phil. He is unfunny as hell.

Boring and bland

I didnt feel like laughing for most part of it. I think the whole show was un-necessary. It got really boring after a while. I did not understand what they were trying to do with the football and the gym instructor. The whole sequence didnt make any sense. And trying to act like a comedian did not suit neither Priyanka nor Sophie. Their roast felt like forced dialogues. You can skip it.

A polite roast

I've seen some savage and witty roasts where nothing is held back. I felt there was plenty of rich material here to roast the Jonas brothers. This felt quite protected and polite at times despite a few good jokes. Justin Bieber and One Direction would be the other celebs that would be easier to roast but the Jonas are also on the top of the list. I feel a lot of it might have been censored to be nice to the three little Romeos. But nevertheless it wasn't all bad and easy to pass the time with.

Leave the Roasts to Comedy Central please

Bland, Unfunny, Horrible dais, did I say Unfunny yet? This is the worst roasts I've ever seen, where are the actual roasts for crying out loud. The only jokes we get are the ones placed there in between the Jonas brothers asses being kissed. They should've went to Comedy Central, Jeff Ross and company would've rocked. This is not IT.

Self-gratifying, mostly Jonas approved jokes between more Jonas written sketches. Pretty funny writing, def funnier than a lot of the last few seasons of SNL, but if fake-laughs and bad acting is what people like, do what makes the empire survive. I respect the need to look current.

Can we come to agreement that this roast was just awful

It felt like a legitimate Disney channel roast, with cussing scattered around for the point of making the roast "TV-MA". None of the show was funny at all, even Pete Davidson couldn't save this show. And out of everyone Pete Davidson got close to no time on stage. I guess the 1 star can be for Dr. Phil's cameo, possibly the only funny part that gave me a chuckle. Overall I don't even know if this can classify as a roast, as all it was is the Jonas brothers getting praised with quick little "jokes" that don't land. The audience was probably paid to laugh.

Pete Davidson is an industry plant

Another "Comedy" Special touched by the Netflix Curse. Virtually every stand up special on netflix is awful and this is no exception. How can they mess this up? Every comic on here is bad,delivering corny unfunny unsophisticated jokes by the spoonful. Keenan Thompson is bad as the host,no suprise there since the only work he can get is overstaying his welcome on SNL. Their wives roasting them was odd since the writers gave them zero material. The worst comedy central roast is 80 times funnier than this travesty. The fun parts about the CC roasts is they are button pushing,this one is heavily constrained by PC humor to the point where a scooby doo episode has more laughs in it. John Legend sings a song about the Jonas brothers not being as good as the beatles for 5 minutes,so what? And last but not least,Pete Davidson is an industry plant since everyone thinks he is unfunny but yet he still gets work as a seat filler or gets put into publicity stunt relationships. Skip this and watch the bieber roast,at least Davidson's material in that was better written(not by him of course but by people with talent)

This Roast is Undercooked

Roasts are based on insult humor usually by comedians. This was unfunny and, in some cases, cringeworthy. It felt more like people trapped in a safe space than a roast. Pathetic.

Too many pre recorded videos, too much camera on wifes.... Many fake laughing moments.

I like Pete Davidson and Jack Whitehall but they too perform far from their comedy standards. You can tell from the beginning when the host fails to create the hype needed to make a good roast.
