Citizen Kane of Our Time
foxlikegrin10 September 2014
This is clearly the Citizen Kane of our time. I have never seen a movie that has so quickly brought me to tears one minute and made me laugh the next. This movie is an emotional roller coaster with its ups and downs. The dialogue was so realistic that you really feel immersed in the world and its characters. It's almost as if you can truly feel the struggle the main character is going through due her loss. As a woman, I can say that I think this movie is one of the most iconic feminist films I have ever seen. Technically speaking, I can barely tell what was CGI and what was real. The practical effects were seamless. I'm not going to spoil the ending for those of you reading this, my lips are sealed. But let's be real this movie deserves a 10 out of 10 rating, would watch again and recommend to all my friends and family. If you haven't already, go watch this movie.

The greatest cinematic landmark of our time

Warning: Spoilers
I started watching movies when I was a child, and I had never imagined there would be a movie that speaks to me the way this movie did. It's a truly inspirational work of art about a woman and her vagina. To see the journey vagina goes on is just incredible. You get to know so much about the vagina throughout the movie that you can't help but get emotional when it returns to its owner. The dialogue is incredible, the scenes look incredibly realistic, and above all else Vagina Vacation always leaves you wanting more. I may never be able to experience seeing Citizen Kane or 2001: A Space Odyssey in theaters, but now I'll never have to, thanks to Vagina Vacation.

Worse than 9/11

I created an IMDb account just to down vote this film. The kind of people that find this funny are people I would never want to hang out with under any circumstances. In a sense, it is not very appropriate to use a rating out of 10 to critique this short film as it does not do justice to just how terrible this is. As I stated in the summary, this film is worse than Pearl Harbour. By this i mean that this film constitutes a more devastating attack on the American people than any other event in history. I wept for days after viewing this travesty. Obviously the makers weren't trying to make a great film, the humour was derived from the ridiculousness of the concept. However both the concept and the execution were horribly unfunny and the creators of this film should feel bad.

Coming to terms with your genitals?

Warning: Spoilers
"Vagina Vacation" is an 8-minute short film from 2009 that deals with a woman who has already gotten her 18th child and as a consequence her vagina decides enough is enough and leaves. It is up to you to decide whether you find grown men in vagina costumes funny as this one only delivers in terms of comedy if that is the case for you. Not in terms of drama. I personally cannot say I am surprised that neither Erick Boychuk, Simon Yang nor the cast in here have become only semi-popular in almost the decade since this was made. There is no talent involved here in my opinion and the whole film relies on a completely stupid plot that is not even elaborated properly. Highly not recommended.
